Karma implies that every good deed will be paid back - and in fact, JMIR Publications has created an innovative system that rewards productive members of the scientific community for contributions such as peer-reviewing or editing for JMIR journals and partner journals.
A new cryptocurrency (R-Coin) and blockchain project will make karma credits portable to other publishers - contact us if you are interested to collaborate.
Goals and intentions
Incentivize peer-reviewers, editors, and authors, and provide a fair remuneration in form of APC discounts to our community members, commensurating with their productivity and involvement.
